HANTSAR is recruiting both Operational and Support Members both on the mainland and the Isle of Wight!

We are looking for volunteers who can give their time willingly and in a professional manner to promote the aims and objectives of the team.

Our aim is to provide teams of qualified searchers, 24 hours a day, to assist in the search for missing vulnerable people. Whilst we welcome new members who can provide any time we are particularly interested in hearing from those who are available during a typical working day as our numbers are generally lower during this period.

HANTSAR has members from many walks of life. We need both 'operational' and 'support' members.

We meet on a Thursday evening on the 2nd and 4th Thursday if you live on the mainland and the 1st and 3rd Thursday for those on the Isle of Wight. All dates are posted on our diary.

All of our volunteers are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure CRB check followed by periodic Police checks.

Once members become operational you are issued with kit which costs the team in excess of £150 per member.
